FURUKAWA UNIC of Japan builds a 15 ton rear mount crane that can be mounted on a 33000 GVW single rear wheel axle chassis. Until recently 15 ton cranes with a boom length had to be installed on more expensive tandem axle chassis. This makes the annual operation costs less.. Less fuel , fewer tires, less on license and highway fees.
